Abigail doesn't like the way this fits her, so it's been handed down to me. I'm not in love with the fit, either. Shoulders, sleeves, neck WONDERFUL -- funny bell-shaped cropped bottom, weird. Makes me look pregnant, but IS extremely comfortable. (it's the pattern, and of course the way the male model is sitting, that is not evident in the photo.) My finishing was OK in this one, and my tension great, but I still had a lot to learn about casting on. I got a nice (unintentional) lacy, loopy look that I've since learned how NOT to do.
Pattern: Simply Noro "Lockwood"
Yarn: Plymouth Galway Highland Heather, Color 739, Dark Teal Green Heather
COST: About $35 in yarn, pattern book $15 -- a good investment for my first full-size sweater and all I learned from it.
Sumptuous, drapey, soft yarn. Love everything about the sweater except the way the bottom hangs. Would make again, but would make it narrower (I followed XS size) and longer.
