A fantastic idea I have been over and signed up. Sorry to hear that you have a funeral to go to. Death is always hard but when it comes at what should be a happy time of the year it always seems worse somehow.

    Laurie

I may do this. It's SUCH a long commitment. I will tell you in person what I considered for the first picture.

Also sorry about the funeral. Part of life, but not a part that is easy to live with. Ever.

    Carole

Laurie's going to tell you something in person? You and Laurie are getting together? Man! Lucky ducks.
Happy New Year, Norma! Getting to know you this year has been wicked awesome.
And, sorry about the funeral. I hope you find peace today.

    Cara

Happy New Year! I'm sorry it's ending on a sad note. And Happy Birthday to Abigail! Hope next year is full of fun fiber and warm knits. I'm in for the ABC thing. Hope I can last the year.

We love you too, Norma. Big hugs for today, and everyday in the year to come.

    Kim

May 2006 be the best yet, Normadear. The best yet. xoxo

There's never a right thing to say when there's been a death of a loved one. Know that you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers today and give yourself a great big virtual hug from me. If you need anything, let us know. I'll be hiding in your tree again and I would imagine I'll have pleanty of blog world company. Tons of love coming your way, Norma Dear.

Look at you Miss Norma, jumping the gun and "stealing" my A idea before the ABC-along even starts. Drat!

    Chelle

Have a Happy New Year! We love you. Can't wait to see what you're going to do (and say) in 2006. Chelle

    Ruth

Love you, too, Norma. Here's to a wonderful 2006 .....

    KT

So sorry that there was a funeral. I will be attending one in a few days. Deep breath, shoulders back, chest out, Onward!

    Happy New Year Norma.

    Kim

Of all the blogs out there, yours has given me the best laughs. I am happy to have gotten to know you over the year!

I'm sorry your year has a sad closing. Keep your chin up and keep smiling!

    Patti

    The ABC thing sounds fun.

I'm with Kim, you have cracked me up more than anybody. Thank you for being here. :)

    Kathy

    Happy New Year, Norma!!!

    Kathy

Aw, love you too, Norma. Wishing you peace today.

    S.Kate

Coming down to the wire here, sweetums...
Are you 52 for 52 yet?
Did you cuff the mitten, or did it cuff you?
    What a great year. Cheers!

    Donna K

Thanks for the wonderfully funny post in 2005. Looking forward to your post in 2006.

    ann

    Happy New Year Norma!

    Kristen

I'm going to refrain from attempting to wax philosophical (sp?) at a funeral on the last day of the year marking the end of a year and a life; Medicine has taught me that death really is a part of life and that might be the #1 lesson I learned last year.

I hope you saw 2006 in as you wanted - happy New Year to you and your family!

    Carrie

Happy New Year, Norma! I've enjoyed your blog thoroughly - I had to find out about this NORma person after all the comments on Ryan's and Stephanie's blogs! (I was a little concerned about what I'd find on the blog of a woman whose name became the standin for swearing...)
My condolences on your loss, and here's hoping 2006 will be better than 2005!
Maybe 2006 will be the year of 2 FOs a week! ;-)

    Debi

I'm so sad for your loss Norma. I hope your new beginnings will heal your heart quickly. Good wishes for you and yours in 2006!!
